The Urban Slipits feature G-10 handles:C127OR Urban Wharncliffe Blade with safety orange G-10 handle and C127FG Urban Leaf-shaped Blade with Foliage Green G-10 handle. Both have screw together handle construction for adjusting and cleaning and feature a left/right-hand tip up silhouette wire pocket clip. Their blades are flat-ground VG-10 available PlainEdged with slip-resistant jimping at the blade spine and along the finger-choil.

Who exactly is Jens Anso? He's a talented Danish industrial designer and an up-and-coming knifemaker shaking up the industry who once said "If you don't want to make your second knife, don't make the first." We're thankful he's been drawn to knifemaking because his designs are unique, fun, functional and making noise in the knife world. His Rock Lobster collaboration has a blade shape not defined by traditional knifemaker labels. Part Wharncliffe part knobby nosed, its thick tip eats up hard cuts and offers loads of personality. Made from VG-10 stainless, it is full-flat ground and available PlainEdged. Handle is foliage green G-10 with enough texture to stop hand-slipping and has a nested LinerLock® with jimping at the lock release. Screw together handle construction allows the knife to be adjusted and easily cleaned. Tip-up/down right hand pocket clip.

Custom Knifemaker Bob Lum has done something no other knifemaker has done. He created a genesis fusing the ancient essence and design of a traditional Chinese fixed blade with features found in modern folding knives. This results in a knife with great historical beauty and modern cutting performance and manufacturing impeccability. The large Chinese folder has a flat-ground VG-10 blade with a spine swedge and a PlainEdge cutting conformation. The black peel-ply G-10 handle incorporates a Walker LinerLock and screw together construction for adjustment and cleaning. Phosphor bronze washers circling the blade's pivot, ensure smooth open/close action. A four-way tip-up/tip-down, left/right hand pocket clip settles the folder deeply in a pocket where it rides ready for use with great style. Bob Lum's Chinese Folder takes ancient knifemaking tradition to a higher level in sophistication and ergonomic usability. Custom knifemaker Bob Lum passed away in 2008 and Spyderco is honored to continue producing his knife designs with the blessing of his widow Jean Lum.

Spyderco's C91 Pacific Salt is designed to offer reliable high performance with an ultra-corrosion-resistant H-1 steel blade. Now it's available with a black coated blade, lessening the steel's reflective qualities and subduing the blade's presence. Hollow-ground, the H-1 blade is PlainEdged and coated in long-lasting black carbonitride. It's similar in shape and size to Spyderco's bestselling Endura model but with more rounded tip. All internal steel parts are treated as well making them practically impervious to rust and pitting. The blade's hole is enlarged to 14mm for easier opening/closing with gloved, wet or cold hands. Textured in a Volcano Grip pattern, the black fiberglass handle has a grippy texture and is fitted with a black Titanium pocket clip that reverses position for both left and right-handers. The addition of a lanyard hole offers a backup method of attachment (thong or lanyard cord) for use around water where once dropped, a knife is often lost or elusively hard to retrieve.

Spyderco developed the UK Penknife after the United Kingdom prohibited the carry of knives with locking blades. We began refining the classic slip-joint pocket mechanism with a notched joint and added two Spyderco features that define the modern folding knife: a pocket clip for convenient carry and our Trademark Round Hole for easy, ambidextrous one-hand opening. The UK Penknife is 100% made in the USA and is available with either a leaf-shaped or drop-point blade design. Both are flat ground from CTS BD1N stainless steel and feature opposing jimping on the thumb ramp and index-finger choil for positive control.

For every rock star knifemaker you see and hear about regularly, there's another quietly perfecting their craft producing innovative high-grade blades. Tim Zowada is one of the quiet perfectionists. An American custom bladesmith, he has intensity for detail in everything he touches. Precise craftsmanship isn't left to fate, to the whim of steel suppliers or a happy mistake. His meticulous approach to knifemaking leads him to forge spectacular Damascus for his own knives as well as other custom and production knifemakers. He also has a devoted following of bearded folks tracking him down for his coveted hair popping straight razors. Spyderco collaborated initially with Zowada in the 1990s. Our newest collaborative folder is a Sprint Run (limited quantities) reviving the original C56 Spyderco/Zowada CLIPIT with a new handle. The C56CF coffin shaped carbon fiber handle has full-dual steel internal liners and a Michael Walker LinerLock. Designed with spacers versus slab construction, the handle is open for ease in cleaning and less weight. Its spear-point blade is hollow-ground VG-10. A swedge-grind on the spine further lessens weight while accentuating the spear-point's clean profile. A black steel clip with gold bug embellishment positions the folder for tip-down, right-handed carry.

Meaning “to rip” in the Philippines’ Visayan dialect, “pikal” is a devastatingly effective system of Filipino martial arts tactics. It is also the inspiration for the Spyderco P’Kal folding knife, which was designed in collaboration with noted self-defense expert Craig Douglas, aka “Southnarc.” The P’Kal’s PlainEdge blade is full-flat ground from CPM S30V stainless steel and features a slightly curved edge for impressive cutting power. A removable post-style Emerson Opening feature provides amazingly fast one-handed blade opening by hooking on the pocket during the draw. It can also be opened manually with the Trademark Round Hole. As a “reverse-edge” tool, the P’Kal’s handle is ergonomically designed to be held with the sharpened edge facing inward toward the user to facilitate powerful pulling cuts. The handle’s skeletonized full stainless steel liners are capped by textured black G-10 laminate scales and house Spyderco’s patented Ball Bearing Lock—an extremely strong lock mechanism that is also completely ambidextrous. To support all appropriate carry and deployment methods, the P’Kal also features a reversible steel wire clip that provides tip-up, edge-forward and edge-back carry on both the left and right sides.

Second up in the Sage Series is the titanium Sage. The Sage Series manifests Spyderco's three decades of pioneering knife crafting and innovating. The series reprocesses a similar shaped and sized folder, releasing a new version annually. Each rendition highlights a locking device or mechanism and credits that mechanism's inventor.
