Leverandørbeskrivelse

The Rake is a good-sized folder with show-off Composite Blade technology.
A Composite Blade combines two steels in one blade and enables us to put each steel to work doing what it does best. In this case, we put high-performance Sandvik 14C28N stainless on the spine and most of the blade. With increased nitrogen in the formula, 14C28N provides both good corrosion resistance and high hardness. The cutting edge is high-carbon high-chromium D2 steel. It’s only slightly stain resistant but it provides the razor edge and the easy re-sharpening of high-carbon steel. In time, expect a patina to develop along the edge, which will help protect against corrosion. With the rake-like tines at the Composite Blade joint, the Rake looks cool and is sure to spark plenty of conversations.
But that’s not all it’s got. The Rake is extremely practical, too. Its blade has a big, curved belly for ample slicing and slashing capability. A clipped point preserves piercing power, too. The knife opens quickly and safely thanks to the SpeedSafe assisted opening system. With SpeedSafe, you can smoothly and easily open the blade with one hand, either left or right, using the flipper or built-in thumbstud. This makes it ideal for sporting and work situations in which one-handed opening is easier and safer.
SpeedSafe
Assists you to open any SpeedSafe® knife quickly and easily with a manual push on the thumbstud or pull back on the flipper; built into many Kershaw best sellers.
3-Position
The user may position the pocketclip for tip-up or tip-down carry on one side and one-position carry on the other.
Flipper
May be used on either manual or assisted opening knives. The “flipper” is a protrusion on the back of the blade that the user can pull back on, or flip, in order to move the blade easily out of the handle.
